EasyVote information

If you are enrolled by about a month before election day, you will receive an EasyVote information pack from the Chief Electoral Office containing essential information and an EasyVote card to make voting easier on the day.

The pack includes a list of advance voting places, polling places, electorate candidates, party lists and a reminder of how to vote under MMP.  It also includes an EasyVote card that shows your name, address and electorate details.

Take your EasyVote card or letter with you when you vote - it will make voting easier.

(If you enrol after writ day, about a month before the election, you will be sent a letter which you can take to a polling place instead of an EasyVote card.)

You can vote without your EasyVote card but it will take longer.

You can make voting even easier by voting at a polling place close to home.  A list of the polling places in your electorate will be in your EasyVote pack.  Polling places are usually busiest between 9am and 11am on election day.
